The album led them to be the recipients of the American Music Award for ‘Favorite R&B Band’, and also a Blockbuster Award for ‘Best Group – R&B’. The single “Tell Me It’s Real” reached number to in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. It reached 8 on the Billboard 200, and made it to number 2 on the R&B charts. The bands sequential album “It’s Real”, released on June 22nd 1999, achieved similar success to its predecessor, and being certified Platinum. It reached the top spot in Australia, Netherlands and New Zealand too. ![]() It was the third single that they released “All My Life” that hit the number one spot in the Billboard Hot 100, remaining there for three weeks. The album went on to give the band two top 10 R&B singles, “You Bring Me Up” and “Last Night’s Letter”. They released their debut album “Love Always” on June 17th 1997, which became an international success, making the charts in eight countries and earning Platinum certification. It was after working alongside 2Pac, on his hit, “How Do U Want It”, which sat at the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100. ![]() They also sang “How Could You” for the film, Bulletproof. K-Ci and Jojo the dynamic duo came to prominence when they covered “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”, which featured on the film Joson’s Lyric.
